What are lighthouse films made of?

Our top-quality headlamp films are made of cast PVC, making them thermoformable and therefore easier to apply. They also feature a solvent-based acrylic adhesive, and an Airflow glue system.

For this type of product, there is a protective liner on the front and back of the film. If you don't remove both, the film won't be properly positioned!

Our other film ranges are made of calendered polymer PVC. They are less easy to handle than cast PVC. They feature a solvent-based acrylic adhesive.

Important: Each film has its own technical specifications. Please read the descriptions and technical data sheets carefully.

Are your headlight films thermoformable?

Our high-quality 70-micron films are thermoformable. However, remember to remove the protective liners on both sides before thermoforming!
