How do I apply anti-fog car film?

Anti-fog film for perfect visibility in rear-view mirrors.

In rainy weather, or on cool mornings, anti-fog film is a real ally.

Simple, practical and inexpensive, this film will help you maintain good visibility in your mirrors, even when the weather turns bad.

Application temperature must be between +5°C and +40°C.

Make sure that the temperature of the glazing is not too low.

Ideally, bring the vehicle to be fitted into the garage the day before.

On the day of installation, make sure you have all the necessary equipment:

Clean the mirror glass thoroughly.

Spray with a mixture of soap solution and water (1 teaspoon for 50cl of water).

Rub with thesponge and dry with a soft microfiber cloth.

Don't neglect the edges of the mirror! Dust can hide there.

Remove the transparent protective film that covers the anti-fog film glue. To do this, use two pieces of scotch tape butted together on one side.

The side of the film that protects the glue is indicated by a coloured dot.

Caution: A second protective film is present on the film to protect it during application. It should be removed when the film is dry.

Spraysoapy water on the glass part of the mirror and on the glued side of the anti-fog film.

Position the film on the surface and squeegee from the center to the edges to remove the soapy water.

Leave the film to dry without wiping it. Once dry, remove the second protective liner.

If your anti-fog film is larger than your mirror, cut off the excess with a cutter or pair of scissors.
