Very easy to install, no need to heat it much, however a little disappointed that there is no protective transparent liner to remove because you see the scratches when passing the scraper.

Hello, If you're having trouble getting the film to conform to the desired shape, you'll need to heat the film. This will make it more malleable. To remove the bubbles, simply crush them with your fingers and heat the film. Best regards, The team Variance Auto

Il prodotto non è estensibile ed adattabile neppure riscaldandola, quindi non sono riuscito ad utilizzarla sul cofano della mia auto, non è stato possibile posarla correttamente sulle parti curve e nervature della carrozzeria. In più anche riscaldandola con il phon il collante non fa aderenza nel breve tempo quindi sulla la pellicola tornano le grinze. Buttato via l’intero lotto per inutilizzo.

Tinted film for your car: a real improvement in comfort
Tint your car windows with Black 15 film to protect you from the outside looking in and give your car some character.
Black 15 film is the best compromise between visual protection and light transmission. It provides good protection without over-darkening your passenger compartment. This tinted film stops 40% of solar energy and 99% of ultraviolet rays, for a light transmission of 15%. This tint is the most common and widely used because it does not interfere too much with rear window visibility.
Please do not lower the windows until the film has dried. Allow to dry for about two days, depending on the exposure of the glass (sunny or not). Milky or orange-peel effects may appear as a result of the soapy product on the adhesive. These effects are normal, and you just need to let the film dry for them to disappear. You can apply a piece of tape to the open/close button to remind you to wait before opening your window.

What is thermoforming used for?
Thermoforming makes it easier to apply the film to the glass. By thermoforming (i.e. "heating") a film, it is molded onto its substrate.
To recognize thermoformed film, you'll notice that it has a slightly "crumpled" appearance. Once installed, this effect will no longer be noticeable.
Thermoforming is carried out by us when you order a tinted window kit. If you buy tinted film by the linear meter, you'll have to do the thermoforming and cutting yourself.

Are tinted windows legal?
For front windows, there are regulations. For rear windows, there are none.
The legally authorized reference for front windows is Extrême Clair 70 (the lightest tint we offer).
