La pose de cette protection de peinture incolore doit se faire de façon humide. Le film n'est pas thermoformable mais il a une excellente capacité à épouser les formes mêmes galbées. Il est possible de retirer le film de protection de carrosserie à tout moment sans endommager la peinture.. En effet, il est fabriqué avec un adhésif permanent mais non agressif.
