Tinted film for your car: a real improvement in comfort
With Fumé Clair 35 film, tint your car's windows to give it a new style while maintaining good visibility on the outside.
Easy to install, this solar film allows 35% of visible light to pass through. With a solar protection index of 44%, the installation of this tinted film helps to prevent the greenhouse effect and therefore to avoid overheating of the passenger compartment in summer. It also protects against UV rays and therefore limits the discolouration of the interior of your vehicle. Finally, this tinted film ensures greater comfort in your car by reducing reflections by 65%, both day and night.
This clear tinted film is particularly popular with motorists who want to have discreet but effective tinted films against the sun (heat, UV and glare).
Important note: our supplier of Premium range car tinting film is the world renowned brand 3M. You may therefore find a small "3M" logo on your roll film and window tinting kit. If this is a problem for you, you can remove the logo with a soft cloth and window cleaner (or acetone).
Please do not lower the windows until the film has dried. Allow to dry for about two days, depending on the exposure of the glass (sunny or not). Milky or orange-peel effects may appear as a result of the soapy product on the adhesive. These effects are normal, and you just need to let the film dry for them to disappear. You can apply a piece of tape to the open/close button to remind you to wait before opening your window.

Then choose the tint for your car's front and rear windows. You can choose from several ranges and tints to suit your needs. What is thermoforming used for?
Thermoforming makes it easier to apply the film to the glass. By thermoforming (i.e. "heating") a film, it is molded onto its substrate.
To recognize thermoformed film, you'll notice that it has a slightly "crumpled" appearance. Once installed, this effect will no longer be noticeable.
Thermoforming is carried out by us when you order a tinted window kit. If you buy tinted film by the linear meter, you'll have to do the thermoforming and cutting yourself.

Are tinted windows legal?
For front windows, there are regulations. For rear windows, there are none.
The legally authorized reference for front windows is Extrême Clair 70 (the lightest tint we offer).
