Detailed description
Tinted film for your car: a real improvement in comfort
Play the originality with this wrapping car dark blue thanks to which you will be able to create unique style in part wrapping !
Type of glue: this wrapping 2D has an "airflow" glue. This means that very fine air channels are present on the adhesive and have the role of evacuating a maximum of air during the step of marouflage. Better evacuated, the air will no longer remain blocked under the wrapping : say goodbye to bubbles!
Important note: choose between a wrapping 2D or 3D ?
As a reminder, this film from wrapping has a 2D finish, i.e. it is not thermoformable. It is therefore not sensitive to heat, and is recommended for use on wrapping on flat surfaces with little curvature to avoid any risk of folds and bubbles. It is not recommended for a total wrapping but rather used in partial wrapping. Any doubt? Do not hesitate to contact our team for more information!

What is the difference between wrapping 2D and wrapping 3D when choosing my wrapping ?
wrapping 2D are suitable for flat or slightly curved surfaces. A good choice for making strips or stickers on a roof, for example.
wrapping 3D are ideal for larger surfaces and more complex curved areas. Thanks to their "cast PVC" composition, they are more easily thermoformed. A wise choice for a complete wrapping , or mirrors, for example.

How to install wrapping yourself?
The first few times can be a bit technical if you're not used to it. With patience, precision, the right equipment and by following the installation instructions carefully, you can get the hang of it. 💪
We advise you to start with "simple" parts like a hood or a roof, to get the hang of it. After that, the more you lay, the easier it gets! 👌
We've got plenty of tutorials to teach you how to lay it yourself. Discover our tips and tricks in this article.

How to wash a car with a wrapping ?
Parts covered with wrapping can be maintained in the same way as the rest of the vehicle. All you need to do is take care of the cut-outs and joints: we advise against washing with a roller to avoid delamination.
Also watch out for karchers at joints. Allow for sufficiently wide returns during installation, to avoid the risk of delamination during cleaning.

What's the best movie wrapping ?
It's the one that's right for you! For stickers or flat surfaces, a wrapping 2D is ideal. On the other hand, for a total wrapping or rear-view mirrors, installation will be easier with a wrapping 3D.
You can also treat yourself to a wrapping from Avery Dennison or 3M. In any case, at Variance Auto we only offer carefully selected, professional-quality products.

How much wrapping do I need to cover my vehicle completely?
The wrapping total calculator shows in just a few clicks the number of linear meters you need for the complete wrapping of your car.
If your car is not entered in the calculator :
- Measure the length of the car (from the bottom of the front bumper through the roof to the bottom of the rear bumper).
- Multiply this result by 3.
If you're not sure, please contact our sales advisors, who will be able to answer your questions as quickly as possible!

What's the difference between wrapping and paint?
wrapping is a great alternative to paint.
- wrapping can be installed by yourself thanks to our installation tutorials.
- The wrapping protects the original paintwork, keeping it in good condition.
- The wrapping can be removed at any time
- wrapping is less expensive
Good to know: The wrapping film will adapt to the surface. If there are bumps or pokes, the wrapping will conform to the shape. These imperfections will remain visible. What's more, if the original paintwork is damaged, the wrapping film can damage it on removal.
-
Is it possible to remove a wrapping ?
Yes, you can remove it at any time without leaving any marks on your vehicle's bodywork. The adhesive used is specially designed so that you can restore the original bodywork at any time.
Warning: wrapping will not damage paint on paint in good condition. But if you put a wrapping on paint that is starting to flake or become damaged, it can damage it.
-
Which wrapping to choose for a complete car?
The wrapping 3D.
It offers superior elasticity and stretchability to 2D, ensuring a smooth, wrinkle-free finish on your vehicle's most complex shapes. wrapping 2D is ideal if you're working on flat surfaces, without curves or reliefs. It's perfect for roofs or hood stripes, for example.
