Tinted windows, Wrapping

To successfully install wrapping or tinted windows, your film must be able to adapt perfectly to your surface, whether it is flat or curved: here is our solution.

What is thermoforming?

Thermoforming is a technique which consists in heating a rigid material (type: glass, plastic...), to make it soften so that it marries the shape that you wish to give him. By cooling, this material will solidify while keeping the shape you have chosen.
There are special devices for this purpose, but you can also use a simple hair dryer on some surfaces! In the car industry, thermoforming is used on the wrapping but also for all the tinted window kits.

What are the Variance Auto thermoformed / thermoformable products?

Tinted glass kits

At Variance Auto, all our tinted window kits are thermoformed beforehand. In our warehouses, we have thousands of references of car models, in order to be able to offer you a tailor-made thermoforming, perfectly adapted to your windows!
We cut the films of our tinted window kits to size, but we always leave a few extra centimeters, so that you can insert the extra film into the seals, for a perfect professional result!
In order to have the most accurate thermoformed films in your tinted window kit, we have a large stock of back glasses and window references. This process is carried out every day by an expert in the workshop who, before thermoforming your films, cuts them to the exact dimensions, for easy installation!

The wrapping

We also offer films from wrapping. It is important to know that only the 3D films are thermoformable, that is to say that they are not thermoformed in the workshop, and that it is up to you to do it during the installation. By choosing this product, you will be able to heat the film with a hair dryer before applying it on the most curved surfaces of your vehicle.
Indeed, for flat surfaces, you will prefer a wrapping 2D film which does not need to be thermoformed, contrary to the curved parts of your car which will require a film of wrapping 3D
To succeed in your thermoforming, you just have to choose a quality wrapping and arm yourself with the right tools!
