Present at the launch of the Mondial de l'Auto 2022, the team Variance Auto has selected for you the nuggets of this event not to be missed by car enthusiasts. A new edition under the sign of alternative energies. The manufacturers have presented us their range renewal with electric vehicles and concept cars running on hydrogen. If you are visiting the event which takes place at the Parc des Expo Porte de Versailles from October 17 to 23, don't miss our selection:

Alpine Alpenglow

This hydrogen-powered supercar is stunning in both design and technology. The Alpine Alpenglow marks the future of the brand and should take to the road at the 2024 Le Mans 24 Hours.

Renault Scenic Vision H2-Tech

Concept car with electric motor and hydrogen range extender, designed with 70% recycled materials and 95% recyclable.

Renault R5 Turbo 3E

To celebrate the 40th anniversary of the R5 Turbo 2, Renault presents a concept car with a cyberpunk look, the R5 Turbo 3E E-Tech 100% electric, sharp, efficient, spectacular: 280kW of power or 380hp, for 700Nm of torque, from 0 to 100 km/h in less than 4 seconds!

Renault 4Ever Trophy

Renault hits hard on this edition and presents the Renault 4Ever Trophy! This 100% electric SUV concept car pays tribute to the famous 4L.

Dacia Manifesto

You'd think it came straight out of a video game (cf. the Warthog from Halo), this Dacia concept car, called Manifesto, breaks the brand's codes! We love it:

Hopium Machina Vision

French brand that wants to develop its production line in Normandy, Hopium made a very good impression at the Mondial de l'auto 2022. Indeed, the will of the brand was to put the Hopium Machina at the center of the debates. With a stand that stands out from the others by its pure style that makes the difference. Far from the stands with a lot of artifice, Hopium proudly displays its model on a turntable with a soundtrack that offers a unique experience. The Hopium Machina proudly stands in front of the DS and Peugeot booth this year.

The Hopium Machina is the first hydrogen-powered car to be built in Normandy and is a real technological gem. Pre-orders are already possible and the Machina should be delivered in 2025. We had the chance to have a few words with the designer Felix Godard. An interview will be available soon!

HUV NAMX

NAMX presents its vision of the car of tomorrow, a model running on hydrogen capsules, a Pininfarina design, a power of 300 to 550 horses, 800 km of autonomy and a 0 to 100 km/h in 4.3 s. With the Namx, it will now be possible to use stock capsules to recharge your car in a few seconds with 6 capsules of 50km of autonomy each in addition to the hydrogen tank. The marketing of the vehicles is planned for 2025.

Microlino

The Micro Mobility Systems brand comes from Switzerland and offers vehicles manufactured in Italy (Turin). With this small electric city car, it will be possible to park like a Smart car in small parking spaces and to exit comfortably from the front of the vehicle. Original and very practical for urban travel, the Microlino is a real rival to the Citroën Ami.
So cute but also very functional, with its front door, its range of 230 km and its speed up to 90 km/h: the Microlino made us fall in love with it!

Peugeot 408

With the 408, Peugeot wants to turn the codes upside down like its new logo already present on the last series. Peugeot is aiming for excellence with its 408, a car available in gasoline and plug-in hybrid versions. For the first official release of the Peugeot 408, the lion brand has seen things in big with a sphere of 6 meters high in which it is possible to contemplate the car from all angles. Impressive! The Peugeot 408 is a rather long car but the very slim and modern lines of the bodywork do not make it a liner on wheels, far from it.

Big star of the Paris Motor Show 2022, the Peugeot 408 will surely be a very present vehicle on the roads in the months to come.

Renault Austral

The new Renault Austral SUV is not to be outdone with its sober and modern design, an elegant and functional interior, and an E-Tech full hybrid engine.

1000tipla per crankshaft

Improbable project of the Vilebrequin team, the two French youtubers: a Fiat Multipla of 1.000 horses!

For the 1000tipla of the now famous youtubers of the channel Vilebrequin, it was necessary to collect more than 1 million € via an online kitty. After a crazy work around this project, it is the first time that it is exposed to the general public and the community of "Loulous". With a very tuning wrapping , we also find several stickers "Powered by Loulous" in thanks to the community without which the project would never have been born.

With a stand of 500 m2, come and discover the atmosphere of the Vilebrequin channel through the famous cars of their Youtube shootings like a magnificent Pagani or a Saxo in very bad condition. Those who follow the videos already know why! Congratulations to them for this stand which looks great for the first stand of content creators on a car show.

Lamborghini Sián FKP 37 by LEGO

This replica of the Lamborghini Sián FKP 37 is 4.98m long, 2m wide and 1m high, and weighs no less than 2 tons. It required more than 9000 hours of development and is made of more than 400 000 LEGO Technic bricks.

Driving simulators

You can find several driving simulators on the show, including on the Alpine stand.

Thrustmaster will also be present at the event for the launch of its latest T128 steering wheel, and will have a number of simcars available for you to try out at its stand. Don't hesitate to test your driving skills in complete safety:

And for the most playful among you, an indoor go-kart track is even available to end the visit in style!
